Naseby Skyline

Naseby Skyline

I had given much thought to a creative way to photograph the historic buildings of Naseby.

Buildings such as the watchmaker, boot maker and county offices date from the 1800s and have special significance to Central Otago.

But how to capture them in a more interesting way than a simple street view?  Then I had an idea generated by something I saw on TV - a cartoon depiction of the Seattle skyline.  Editing my photos to remove their backgrounds, giving them a water colour mix and then arranging the skyline proved to be a  unique way of viewing these important structures.
