1.0 ARTWORK INFORMATION
1.1 Framing / mounting descriptions :
A detailed description of the different types of framing / mounting / printing options are found with each product listing and also on the FAQ page. By ordering an artwork, you accept that you fully understand the product description of the item you have ordered.
1.2 Artwork representation – computer screen image vs printed artwork
How artwork looks on your computer screen may be slightly different to how it looks in real life as a printed work on photo paper. This is due to :
a) Most computer screens are not calibrated for colour and it will depend on what settings the computer has been given for contrast, saturation, hue etc. Therefore you may be seeing the colours in an image slightly incorrectly, along with contrast & saturation.
b) A digital image of an artwork shown on a bright backlit LED computer screen is a different substrate to a photo paper print, therefore colours / brightness / saturation may be slightly different. Usually the difference between screen image & printed product are not too different, however if you put them side by side usually there will be a slight difference.
All images showcased on www.janynefletcher.co.nz remain the sole property of Janyne Fletcher and any use of these images without Janyne Fletcher's permission results in a breach of copyright & legal action may be taken.
Prices are stated in $NZ (New Zealand dollars) and include GST (Goods & Services tax, 15%) and all transactions are billed in New Zealand dollars.
Payment is made at time of ordering artwork by credit card via PayPal or Online Banking.
4.0 DELIVERY, TIMING & SHIPPING COSTS
Most artworks are ordered specifically for each customer & timing depends upon the item ordered. Each product has estimated delivery times included with the product description & shipping times are approximately 2-3 working days extra. Janyne Fletcher does not take any responsibility where 3rd party shipping providers (courier & post) create time delays.
5.1 Defective artwork :
If an artwork is defective (refer list below), within 1 year of purchase & at the seller’s discretion, goods may be repaired or replaced or the price refunded.
-mounted / framed photo starts to delaminate or bubble.
-another issue (please state when sending through your warranty request)
Note that warranties do not apply :
-when an artwork is faded due to UV light (refer below).
-when an artwork has been damaged by the customer.
Please contact us to enquire about a warranty claim.
5.2 UV Light
Over time UV light will degrade any printed product & fade the inks.
It is important to keep the artworks out of direct sunlight as much as possible.
If you are concerned about colours fading it is often a good idea to choose UV conservation glass.
6.0 REFUND / DAMAGED GOODS
Please contact us immediately if you are unhappy for any reason about your order. We do not refund if you have changed your mind about an order so please make your decision carefully.
If your artwork arrives damaged we will print and send a replacement at no extra charge. Please keep all the packaging and contact us for more information if your artwork has arrived damaged.
7.1 Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, subscribe to the newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
7.2 Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilised and other similar information.
7.4 How we use collected information
Janyne Fletcher collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:
• To improve customer service - Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
• To personalise user experience - We may use information to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
• To process transactions. We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
• To administer a content, promotion, survey or other Site feature. To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.
• To send periodic emails - The email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.
7.5 How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site. Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. This website does not store credit card details, and all payments are handled by a secure, PCI compliant, third party.
7.6 Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.
