Ranfurly Gallery

Janyne Fletcher’s workshop and gallery opened in 2016 and is a character-filled space on Ranfurly’s main street in the heart of Central Otago. The gallery is easily accessible from the Otago Central Rail Trail and is a popular stop for cyclists travelling through the region. As a working studio, the space supports the creation, printing and framing of Janyne’s distinctive fine art photography.

The gallery is located at 7 Charlemont Street, Ranfurly, on the main road opposite the Ranfurly Hotel.

The gallery is now on its seasonal winter pause while Janyne spends time out in the Maniototo landscape creating new work.  The gallery will reopen in spring, with new work to follow soon after.  If you are travelling through Ranfurly and would like to visit, please call or text 021 989 424. Janyne is often nearby and happy to open the gallery if available.

Work can also be viewed and purchased online at any time via the website.

During the spring, summer and autumn Gallery hours reflect the rhythm of a working artist’s practice. The gallery is open Monday, Wednesday to Friday 9.30am–3.30pm and Saturday 10am–3pm throughout spring, summer and autumn. As a one-person gallery, Janyne is often available outside these hours.

If the door is open, visitors are welcome to come in. If it is closed, Janyne is usually nearby, and visitors are encouraged to call or text 021 989 424. She is always happy to open the gallery if available.

The gallery takes a seasonal pause over the winter months while new work is created and reopens in spring with fresh pieces on display. Visits during this time are welcomed by arrangement.
